Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AutoTok Machine ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Service.

Description of Service

AutoTok Machine is a document read-aloud tool that allows users to upload personal documents and have them read using third-party AI voice technology. The Service is developed and operated by Veylorix.

User Responsibilities

• You are solely responsible for any documents you upload to the Service.
• You may only upload documents you own or have the legal right to use.
• You agree not to upload copyrighted material you do not have permission to use.
• You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining your own third-party API keys, including ElevenLabs and any other integrated services.
• You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.

Data Storage & Privacy

AutoTok Machine uses Firebase, a service provided by Google, to manage user accounts and store account-related metadata. This includes information such as your email address, account preferences, and file library metadata (file names, dates added, and associated settings).

The actual content of your uploaded documents is processed locally within your browser and is not transmitted to or stored on Veylorix servers. Document content may be sent to third-party APIs (ElevenLabs, Anthropic) solely for the purpose of providing the requested features.

Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party APIs and platforms including but not limited to ElevenLabs, Anthropic, and Firebase. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. Veylorix is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security, or policies of any third-party service.

Intellectual Property

The AutoTok Machine interface, design, branding, and underlying code are the intellectual property of Veylorix. The name "AutoTok Machine" and the Veylorix brand are currently unregistered trademarks in active use, with formal registration pending.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without express written permission from Veylorix.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Veylorix does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Veylorix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. This includes but is not limited to damages resulting from uploaded content, third-party service outages, data loss, or unauthorized access to your account.

Account Termination

Veylorix reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any user account at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms of Use, misuse of the Service, or at our sole discretion. Users will be notified of termination where reasonably possible.

Changes to These Terms

Veylorix reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Use at any time. When changes are made, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Your continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
